A comprehensive online platform connecting and supporting London’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Cohere partnered with Gust, IBM and the Mayor of London to launch the first ever dedicated online hub for the capital’s thriving digital industry. The Tech.London website includes the latest information and resources that people in London can use to access opportunities in the tech sector, connect with each other, and grow their businesses.

For this project we designed and developed the site architecture, the content strategy, the UX and UI user flows, the front-end and back-end interface, the custom CMS and a comprehensive platform to support creation of hubs like Tech.London in other startup-rich cities. Working with hundreds of content providers we created rich content destinations for London’s latest startups, investors, events, jobs, classes, blogs, videos, workspaces, accelerators, incubators, and startup resources.

With the novel use of interactive color-coded maps that play a pivotal part in key page layouts, we set out to aggressively adapt the generic mapping API content to make maps be part of the page design instead of a supporting utility. We devised comprehensive browsing and sorting tools, automatic content publishing flows and responsive architecture to make Tech.London the true modern guide to the startup community, events & jobs in London.

As part of this comprehensive engagement we also created the site's identity, visual design language, ad campaign templates, sponsor materials, ongoing editorial strategy and content creation workflows.
